There are times when Workana, for projects or extensions of less than USD 300, can release funds to the freelancer automatically. Here we leave you the details so you know when it can happen:
- If the client receives a delivery and does not approve or reject it within 15 calendar days, Workana will automatically release the funds corresponding to that deliverable. See note below **
- The delivery mentioned here needs to be done formally through the platform, using the "Submit work" button available to the freelancer in the project.
In this way, Workana considers that the flow of execution and project closure is improved, guaranteeing freelancers a maximum waiting period after making a deliverable without the need to resort to arbitration.
Inappropriate use of the "deliver work" function, registering a "fake delivery" constitutes a violation of our terms of use and policies, and may mean the definitive closure of an account. More details here.
The automatic release is valid for projects or extensions less than USD 100 contracted since 09-29-2020, and for projects or extensions less than USD 300 contracted since 02-04-2021.
Remember: no project or extension greater than USD 300 is included in this Policy.
That is, projects greater than USD 300 do not work with automatic release.
**Important: The system takes into account the day of delivery and not the exact time of the delivered material.
That is, if you delivered a material on the 1st day of the month at 2 pm, the release will be made on the 16th at the end of the day.
