Here we explain to you what could be the problem in the possible errors when trying to make a payment
- Error in credit card payment: It may happen that when you try to make a payment by credit card, there may be an error. In such cases, Workana sends an email informing clients that they have to contact their bank so that they can unblock the transaction. Unfortunately, in such cases, Workana cannot process the payment because it is already blocked from the bank. For that reason, you need to contact your bank, and in case they don't unblock the payment, you can try to make the payment by going to "add credit to my account" from your control panel. If it the problem still persists, you have to select another payment method available on the platform.
- Error in payment of projects by the hour: When the "billing error" error appears in the work journal of an hourly project submitted by the professional, it is due to the fact that the bank of the credit card you have linked to is blocking the transaction for some reason. In that case you have to contact your bank to unblock the transaction. It may also be because you do not have sufficient funds in your Workana balance. In that case, you will need to add funds to your Workana account. In both cases, once the problem has been solved, you can pay the hours again by clicking on "Pay for Hours".
- The project is awaiting guarantee or payment verification: In the first case, if you have paid through Mercado Pago, or in cash, processors may take up to 72 hours to process your payment. To speed up this process, you will see that there is a button in the project with the legend "Attach receipt". There, you can attach your proof of payment so that Workana can process the payment faster and approve the payment. If the project is listed as "verifying payment", it means that Workana is reviewing it, and we will approve it as soon as possible or contact you by email :)
