Here we explain what can be the problem with possible errors when trying to make a payment :
- Error when paying with a credit card: It may happen that when trying to make a payment with a credit card, an error occurs. In these cases, Workana sends an email informing the customer that he must contact his bank so that he can unblock the transaction. Unfortunately, in these cases, Workana is unable to process the payment because it is already blocked at the bank. For this reason, you must contact your bank, and if it does not unlock the payment, you can try the payment by going to "add credit to my account" in the control panel.
- Error in the payment of projects per hour: When in the work schedule of a project per hour, the error "billing error" appears in the hours charged by the professional, it is because the bank of the credit card you linked to is blocking the transaction for some reason. In that case, you must contact your bank to unlock the transaction.
It may also be due to insufficient funds on your Workana balance. In that case, you will need to add funds to your Workana account.
If the intention is to add credit to your account to pay for the hours, you must take into consideration and contemplate the 4.5% commission from Workana.
In both cases, once the problem is solved, you can return to pay the hours by clicking on “Payment Hours”.
- The project is awaiting guarantee or payment verification: The project is awaiting guarantee or payment verification: In the first case, if you have paid through credit card, processors may take up to 72 hours to process your payment. To speed up this process, you will see that there is a button in the project with the legend "Attach receipt". There, you can attach your proof of payment so that Workana can process the payment faster and approve the payment. If the project is listed as "verifying payment", it means that Workana is reviewing it, and we will approve it as soon as possible or contact you by email :) More info about verification process, here.
