Hourly projects work differently from fixed projects.
You can pay this type of projects by authorizing a credit card.😉
How does it work?
Once you have accepted the bid of a professional, you will see that when you enter your project, there is a green button that says "Add payment method". You have enter there.
Then, the payment page will open, where you can authorize a card.
When you add your card, the payment processor will capture an amount equivalent to 3 hours (card activation fee). But don't worry, this amount will be automatically released to your card within a maximum period of 30 business days. 🙂
Then, once your card is authorized, every time you approve hours reported by the freelancer (or after 7 days, if you do not enter to approve or disapprove the hours), the system will debit the amount from your credit card.
You can also pay the hours by depositing money in your Workana account. When you approve the reported hours, Workana will debit directly from the balance you have in your account.
ATTENTION: you must have in your account the amount to be paid plus the cost of 4.5% commission of Workana.
For example, if you must pay USD 100 to the freelancer, you must have at least USD 104.50 in your account.
Adding money to your Workana account is quite simple. In the menu bar you can see the option 'My finances' and, alternatively, 'Add credit'.
If you choose to pay hours with the balance of your Workana account, is important that you always keep money available in your account so that your project is not delayed 🙂
