Have you arrived at Workana, but have questions about how it works or how hiring freelancers through the platform works? Don't worry, we will help you and do everything in our power to make your experience on Workana the best it can be! 😉
It's actually very simple:
Projects within Workana have 4 phases:
- Analyzing Proposal
- Waiting for Security Deposit
- Executing
- Finalizing Project
First phase:
If you are a user as a client:
You create a project detailing the work you need. You must choose whether it will be a fixed-price project or an hourly-price project.
The professionals interested in working on your project will send bids, or proposals.
The client selects a professional to work on the project and accepts their proposal.
Second phase:
At that exact moment, you make the payment so that the professional you hired receives the notification of the guarantee and is free to execute the project.
Workana retains your payment as an escrow deposit.
Third Phase:
Together, the client and the professional carry out the work, exchanging all the necessary material through the platform, both messages and files. This way, Workana can follow up on the project and guarantee a job well done on both ends..👍
Fourth phase:
After the professional delivers the completed work, the client authorizes Workana to release the payment to the professional, this way completing the project - each party will obtain a qualification rating according to their performance throughout the project.
Please note that Workana recommends that clients release partial or total funds when they are certain of the results of the material delivered by the freelancer.
Payment release is an irreversible process, meaning that when the client releases payment to the freelancer, the amount is removed from Workana's guarantee and cannot be returned in the event of problems after the project is completed.
