For the client and the professional to have more direct contact, Workana has the option of video call.
Who can start a video call?
- Freelancers on an Explorer or Master plan can start a video call with any client.
- Clients on a client plan can start a video call with any freelancer.
Who can receive a video call?
- Freelancers on a Silver level or higher, or those with any contracted benefit plan, can receive a video call from clients on a contracted Client plan.
- All clients can receive a video call from eligible freelancers (those on an Explorer or Master plan).
Both the client and the freelancer must be online on the Workana website in order to make the video call.
How do I know if I'm receiving a video call?
Too easy! If you are a freelancer and your client is trying to reach you by video call, you will see a pop-up, which will notify you of the incoming call.
If the freelancer wants to start the video call, the client will see the pop-up with the call :)
Remember that everything that is discussed and / or agreed through video call must be documented in the project chat, so that we can be registered in the event of a dispute
Do you have problems with the camera or audio?
Try this:
Select Home > > Settings > Privacy > Camera.
Under Allow camera access on this device, select Change and make sure Camera access for this device is turned on.
It is also important that the user has to add the exception to the antivirus.
If that doesn't work, please contact us: https://www.workana.com/en/contact/
Remembering that video calls with a link other than the one we use are not permitted.
