At Workana, we DO NOT change ratings given or received. Why? These are our reasons ![]()
* It would take credibility away from Workana and, consequently, from all its users. One of Workana’s most valued aspects is that ratings can be verified. The money and work have passed entirely through the platform, so we know that the service was provided. If we allowed changes, it would affect the trust that a user may have in our service in the future.
* Changing a rating once the rating given by the other party has been made public is unfair. A key part of how ratings work on Workana is the possibility of rating someone before knowing how they will rate us. This way, we are not influenced by what the other person said about us, and our rating is sincere.
What happens if I don’t rate the other party?
This point is very important! When you decide to give up your right to freely and sincerely share your opinion about your experience working with the client /professional, we will consider that everything went well. Therefore, after 15 days, the system will award your other party 5 stars, which is the highest rating. This rating will be displayed on their profile.
IMPORTANT: Before releasing the funds and leaving a rating, we must make sure that the project is fully completed and correct. Once both parties have been rated, there should supposedly be no further need for communication and the project is considered finished, so there should be no subsequent demands after this step.
In what exceptional cases can a rating be removed?
- Obvious unintentional error: for example, if you intended to give 5 stars but accidentally selected only 1 star when rating.
- Rating that does not comply with our Policies: ratings that include personal comments about the other party and/or any type of discrimination and/or offensive language and/or that do not specifically refer to each party’s experience in relation to the project will not be accepted.
ATTENTION: Coercion, negotiation, or agreements regarding ratings are not permitted. It is strictly prohibited to pressure the other party for a rating; negotiating or agreeing on ratings is also not permitted (for example: offering free work / discounts or releasing funds in exchange for a good rating). If this behavior is detected, the account will be sanctioned.
