Once you’ve accepted a proposal, you’re just one step away from getting started with the professional. 😊
Before you begin, there’s just one last step: make the Security Deposit if it’s a fixed-price project, or validate your payment method if it’s an hourly project.
🎯 Once you’ve completed this step, you can start working together!
The first thing you can do is get in touch with the professional you chose and start discussing the details of your project.
We recommend keeping all communication within Workana throughout the entire process.
This way, you’ll have everything related to your project in one place and can work together with greater peace of mind and security.
For fixed-price projects: the professional will submit the agreed deliverables until the project reaches 100% completion. The work can be delivered all at once or in stages, depending on what you agreed on and the established progress percentages.
At each stage, you can review and approve or reject the deliverable. This allows you to let Workana know whether the corresponding amount should be released to the professional, based on your satisfaction with the work completed.
Once the project reaches 100% completion, the professional can submit the final deliverables.
🎉 To complete the project, all that remains is for both parties to rate each other. Ratings are confidential: you’ll only be able to see how the professional rated you after you have submitted your own rating.
For hourly projects: once you’ve validated your payment method, the professional can start working. As the project progresses, they’ll record the hours worked in the Work Diary, including the tasks completed, when they were performed, and how long each task took.
You can review and approve or reject the hours recorded by the professional. Once you approve the hours, the corresponding payment will be made 24 hours after your approval.
Hourly projects don’t have a predefined end date, so they can remain open for as long as both parties consider necessary.
🎉 To complete an hourly project, simply indicate that the project has ended once there are no pending tasks or unpaid hours and both parties have completed the agreed work. After that, you can rate each other to complete the process.
