What is a badge?
At Workana, we call the badges displayed on user profiles badges. These badges help highlight the experience and track record each professional has built while working through the platform.
Each badge represents a different aspect of a professional’s experience and gives you a better understanding of their journey on Workana. 🙂
What badges can you find, and what does each one mean?
At Workana, every professional has a level within the platform, which reflects their track record and performance according to our Level System.
In addition, you may find badges that highlight different characteristics or benefits associated with a professional’s profile, such as participation in specific Workana programs, memberships, or initiatives.
Learn what each badge on Workana means:
Verified Freelancer: This badge was part of a Workana campaign that ran between 2020 and 2021. Freelancers who reached the Hero level could participate in an interview with the Human Resources team.
This initiative is no longer available, and the badge only remains on the profiles of freelancers who participated in it.
Experienced Freelancer: This badge identifies professionals who are part of The Accelerator program.
Crown Badge: This badge indicates that the professional has an active Explorer Membership or Premium plan.
Medal Badge: This badge identifies memberships available through The Accelerator program.
TOP 100: This badge is awarded exclusively to professionals who rank among the top 100 in our ranking.
