All profiles registered on Workana go through a moderation process that can take between 15 and 30 days. During this period, you won't be able to submit proposals until your profile is approved.
While you wait, we recommend checking that your profile is 100% complete and taking the available skill certifications to strengthen your profile and highlight your professional skills.
What do my profile status updates mean?
During the moderation process, you may receive different notifications about your profile status.
All these updates are also available for you to review in your Control Panel.
We're reviewing your profile / Pending: Your profile is undergoing moderation and is being evaluated by our system. You just need to wait for the indicated timeframe to receive an update.
Profile update / Not approved: Your profile has completed the moderation process but was not approved or needs improvements to meet the platform's requirements.
We approved your profile / Approved: Your profile has been approved! This means you have successfully completed the moderation process and can now use the platform and submit proposals.
Completing your profile with clear, relevant, and up-to-date information is especially important during Workana's profile moderation process, as it helps you better showcase your skills, experience, and professional services for evaluation. 😊
Keep in mind that the moderation process is comparative: profiles are evaluated based on several factors, including how complete they are, the certifications obtained, and proven experience in the skills listed. Therefore, profiles with complete information, relevant certifications, and more demonstrable experience in their areas of expertise have a better chance of being approved.
What is Priority Moderation?
If your profile was not approved, we recommend reviewing all fields and making sure your information is complete, clear, and up to date.
Pay special attention to the Professional Experience section, where you can describe your career history and the activities you performed in previous roles or positions.
If you don't have freelance experience yet, you can highlight previous work experience, internships, or other activities relevant to your field. This will help you better showcase your knowledge and skills during the moderation process.
