If you’ve created a professional profile on Workana, please keep in mind that before you can start sending proposals and working with clients through the platform, your profile will need to go through a moderation process.
Every month, we receive a large number of new registrations, so we carefully review profiles before approving them. This process helps us maintain the quality of our community and provide a better experience for everyone from the start.
How long does moderation take?
Profile reviews usually take between 15 and 30 days, depending on the number of new registrations we receive.
How can you increase your chances of approval?
The more complete your profile is, the better your chances of getting approved.
Use this space to tell us who you are, highlight your experience, and showcase your skills. You can also include information about your professional background so clients can better understand what you can bring to their projects.
In your profile, make sure to add:
- A profile photo.
- Your hourly rate.
- Information about yourself.
- Your professional experience.
- If you work in Design & Multimedia, you must link your Behance account (this is required for profiles in this category).
- Get a Workana skills certification.
⚠️ Remember to complete 100% of your profile, as this can increase your chances of approval. Make sure to include all relevant information about your experience and skills.

Once your profile is approved, we’ll send you a confirmation email.
What can you do on Workana with an approved profile?
Once your profile is approved, you’ll be able to connect with clients and send proposals for the projects that interest you most.
From that moment on, you’ll start at the Iron level, with 2 connections per week to send proposals. If you need more, you can also opt for a Benefits Plan with additional connections.
How will you know if your profile is not approved?
If your profile is not approved, you’ll receive a notification in your dashboard where you can check the moderation result and your profile status.
