At Workana, we are committed to maintaining a safe, transparent, and trustworthy environment for all users of the platform. In order to protect the integrity of the community and prevent fraudulent or abusive activities, Workana continuously implements security controls, monitoring mechanisms, and verification processes.
Workana reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to review, audit, or investigate any account, project, transaction, or activity on the platform when there are indications of unusual or inconsistent behavior.
As part of these processes, Workana may, among other measures:
request additional information or documentation to verify a user’s identity or activity;
temporarily limit certain account functionalities;
retain or delay the release of funds while review processes are carried out;
reverse transactions when necessary to protect users or the platform.
Information, files, or alleged deliverables submitted by users do not by themselves constitute sufficient proof of legitimate work execution, and Workana reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to determine whether an activity corresponds to a legitimate project or to an improper use of the platform.
The following actions will be considered a serious violation of Workana’s Terms of Service:
using false or inconsistent identities;
simulating projects;
manipulating payment or fund release processes;
using the platform as a mechanism for financial transfers between parties.
If such activity is detected, Workana may take the measures it deems necessary to protect the integrity of the platform and its community, including, but not limited to:
temporary suspension of the account;
retention or reversal of funds;
permanent account closure.
Decisions made as part of security and compliance processes may be based on internal information, risk analysis, and other relevant factors, and will be applied at Workana’s discretion in order to preserve the safety and trust within the platform.
Circumvention of Security Controls
Users agree not to attempt to bypass, manipulate, or interfere with the security, verification, or monitoring controls implemented by Workana.
Any attempt to circumvent or manipulate the platform’s security mechanisms will be considered a violation of this policy, including, but not limited to:
providing false, incomplete, or inconsistent information in order to pass verification processes;
using identities, documents, or profiles that do not correspond to the person operating the account;
creating simulated projects or interactions with the purpose of justifying payments or fund releases;
generating or presenting evidence, deliverables, or communications intended to simulate legitimate activity when no real project exists;
coordinating activities between accounts or using multiple accounts to bypass the platform’s risk controls.
The detection of conduct intended to evade or manipulate Workana’s security controls may result, at the platform’s sole discretion, in measures including account suspension or permanent account closure, as well as the retention or reversal of funds when necessary to protect the community.
