All stages of a project should take place within Workana. This allows us to monitor communications, provide support when needed, and help protect both clients and freelancers.

1. The selection process within the platform

The selection process can be carried out entirely within Workana. Clients can interview candidates, ask questions, request examples of previous work, and assess whether a professional is the right fit for their project.

To do so, the platform offers tools such as:

• Messages: Communicate with professionals or clients, exchange information, and share files or examples.
• Video calls: Hold meetings directly through Workana. You can learn more in our video call guide.
• Selection assistance: Clients can request support in finding the right professional through our Success Packages.

2. Outside the platform, outside the protection!

Keeping all communication within Workana is essential for protecting both parties throughout the project.

This allows us to keep track of agreements regarding the scope of work, prices, deadlines, and deliverables, as well as provide support if a disagreement arises.

Workana's protection is designed to benefit both sides: freelancers can receive payment for the work agreed upon, while clients can have greater security that the contracted work will be delivered as expected.

How does the guarantee work in case of a disagreement?

If a client is dissatisfied with the work delivered, they may request mediation, subject to the applicable guarantee conditions. The messages exchanged through Workana are important evidence during this process.

If we determine that the freelancer did not fulfill the agreed terms, we may refund the client the amounts covered by the guarantee, depending on the outcome of the review.

On the other hand, if the freelancer completed the work as agreed but the client has not released the payment, the freelancer may request arbitration. If the analysis confirms that the agreed work was delivered, the payment may be released.

When conversations and agreements take place outside Workana, it becomes more difficult to verify what was agreed upon and provide the protection offered by the platform.

Workana may contact users through official channels, including WhatsApp. Our representatives should identify themselves appropriately.

Remember: Workana will never ask you to make payments, share your password, or provide access credentials through these communication channels.
