At Workana, we value the honesty and transparency of our reputation system. Therefore, once you submit a rating and it is published on the other user's profile, it cannot be modified directly from your control panel.
However, we understand that unintended mistakes can happen. Here is how you can correct a rating if needed:
1. In what exceptional cases can a rating be modified? Workana will only process a rating change if the following security and transparency requirements are met:
- Obvious or accidental error: For example, if you intended to give 5 stars but accidentally selected only 1 star when rating.
- Mutual consensus: Both parties (client and professional) must agree to the modification. Changes will not be accepted if either party disagrees.
- Coercion or negotiation is strictly prohibited: It is strictly forbidden to pressure, threaten, or negotiate with the other party (such as offering free work or releasing funds in exchange for a positive rating). If this behavior is detected, the account will be penalized.
2. How to request a change from Support? If you made a mistake and the other party agrees to modify the rating, you must follow these steps:
- Talk to the other user: Make sure to leave a record in the project chat that both of you agree to modify the rating, and clearly state the exact score (stars) and comment you wish to apply.
- Contact us: Send a request through our official contact form .
- Provide the details: In your message, specify the project name, the user you rated, and the final rating/comment you want to appear.
- Verification and update: Our support team will review the project chat to confirm mutual agreement and will manually update the rating within 72 business hours.
