Have you completed all the registration steps but still can’t send any bid? This means that in Workana, your profile must be approved before you can interact with clients.
Why do we moderate profiles?
The answer is simple. We want to count on the best freelancers and on the best clients. We understand that registering with us might become tiresome and hard, but we want your Workana account to be of value.
We want to create amazing experiences for all our users at Workana, building long-term, fruitful relationships.
Moderation allows us to ensure that your presentation letter is as complete as possible so that clients can focus on picking the best freelancers.
The following tips can help you put up a better profile:
- Upload a good front picture of your face
- Complete the certificates to back up your skills.
- If you still don't have it: make your portfolio on Behance and link your account to show your best works.
- Tell us more about you and your work history in detail
How long can moderation take?
Every week we choose certain amount of profiles to be approved. If your profile is one of these, you’ll be receiving an email within 15 days of your registration date. In case you have not been chosen among the best profiles, we’ll send you an email after those 15 days to let you know and help you improve it. After this profile improvement, we will review your profile for a further 7 days.
My profile was rejected. What can I do?
Once you receive the email stating that your profile has not been approved (this email is sent on average 3 weeks after registering), unfortunately you will have to wait three months to be able to register again in Workana. It means that your profile has not been selected and you will not be able to submit connects on the platform. Once three months have passed, upon entering Workana you can edit your profile and again you will have opportunities to be selected.
If after 3 weeks you have not received any email from us - it is important - check your spam box.
What should I do when my profile is already approved?
Once your profile has been approved, you’re ready to establish contact with clients and send bids for the projects you’re interested in. As from that moment, your Career as a Workana Freelancer can get going and you can reach wherever you wish to go :)
