How do I get an invoice for payments made?
Workana acts as an intermediary between users and provides a safe space for clients and professionals to meet and work.
As a Workana user, you can request invoices for payments made. But it is important that you know which services Workana bills and which freelancers should bill.
What services do we generate an invoice for?
Those that constitute payment for Workana:
- The cost of the service you pay for each contracted project.
- Your client Plus plan
- The service combos you buy for your projects
- Benefit plans
- The commission they pay for each contracted project.
What type of invoice will you receive and how can you apply for it?
Workana is a company based in the United States, therefore, it issues its invoices in dollars.
You must write to our Support (www.workana.com/contact) so that we can send you the invoice. If you need to include your tax information, you must first load it into "My finances" - "My billing information".
Which services cannot generate an invoice?
The values that you as a client release to the freelancer. For these amounts, if necessary, the freelancer must generate the invoice.
It is important to remember that if you, as a client, need an invoice for the value of the project, you must notify the freelancer before accepting the proposal.
On fixed value projects, we hold the project money until you decide to release it to the professional, and on hourly projects, your payments go directly to the freelancer each time you approve work hours.
Can I get a receipt for deposits made at Workana?
As a customer, you can download a receipt for every deposit you make on the platform; To do this you must go to "account movements", and to the right of each payment you will find the download icon.
